A FRESH START BEGINS AT HOME!
The House of Hope answers the all too familiar cry...
"Someone needs to do something about this homeless problem!"
Yes, even Durant is feeling the strain of a growing unhoused community. The phrase “homeless problem” may sound cold, but it often comes from a compassionate heart that recognizes any neighbor without a safe place to call home is one too many. In that sense, Durant does have a problem, and yes, someone needs to do something.
The House of Hope will be a fully equipped rooming house designed to support chronically homeless persons on their journey to self-sufficiency. This is more than a building. This is an outpouring of compassion that gives our neighbors the fresh start of affordable housing where they can live with dignity in a safe place they can truly call "home."
